Common side effects reported from Cialis use include:
More severe side effects include:
If you experience any of these side effects, seek medical attention immediately. These are symptoms of a severe adverse reaction to this medication that require immediate treatment.
As with all prescription medications, inform your doctor of any medical conditions you currently manage. Tell them about any and all medications, prescription drugs, and supplements you are taking before starting treatment with Cialis. Cialis can interact with bodily substances, causing potentially serious adverse reactions.
Specifically, you should inform your health care provider of any alpha-blocker, antifungal, HIV protease inhibitor, or high blood pressure medication you are taking. Remember to mention any herbal products you use, especially St. John’s wort.
In addition, let your doctor know if you have recently had heart surgery or experience chest pain during sex. If you experience any changes in your heartbeat or chest pain during sex, contact your health care provider immediately.

As with any antibiotic, inform your healthcare provider of any medical conditions you currently manage. Tell your doctor about any and all medicines you are taking, especially medicines that you use, especially prescription medicines, over the past several weeks, including medicines your doctor has reviews on.
In addition, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. If you become pregnant, your doctor may extend the period of time that your doctor has given you time toaturatedu.

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
MADISON, VIAGADU, Dec 27, 2013 (Health Canada) - A new study published in theJournal of Health and Consumersannounces the discovery of the first generic version of the popular erectile dysfunction (ED) medication Cialis®, by a team of Canadian scientists, in Canada.
The team of scientists used ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC/MS/MS) to analyze the active compound Cialis® and its main component, sildenafil, in plasma samples collected from men with erectile dysfunction (ED).
“Cialis® has been the most extensively studied drug in clinical trials. Its pharmacokinetic profile in patients with ED was in line with those of traditional ED medications and was similar to that of other drugs, including Viagra®,” said study lead author, Dr. Paul B. Hargreaves, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Toronto. “Therefore, the discovery of this generic ED drug is a breakthrough for men seeking to improve their sexual health and quality of life.”
The new study, funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, found that Cialis® and sildenafil, both from the generic form of Cialis, had the same absorption rate as the branded version and their plasma concentrations were similar.
The study, published in the journalPharmaceuticals and Bioactive Ingredient, was supported by the Health Canada. The study was funded by a post-doctoral research grant from the Ontario Institute of Technology.
The researchers determined that Cialis® and sildenafil are effective at treating ED, but they did not find a significant difference in the plasma concentration of the branded version of Cialis®. The research team also found that the drug had the potential to cause a slight increase in the concentration of sildenafil in the blood, so the researchers were not able to test this potential for its safety and efficacy.
“This is the first study of its kind that has investigated the safety and efficacy of Cialis® and sildenafil in patients with ED and has been conducted in Canada,” said lead author, Dr. Michael S. Schmieder, professor of medicine at the University of Toronto.
“This study is an important step in the development of a treatment for ED, as it provides a more effective alternative to traditional ED medications. It will be interesting to see if this generic ED drug can be used to treat ED.”
“Our research team has a long history of studying ED,” said Schmieder, who was not involved in the study. “We are excited to be working with Canada and look forward to learning more about the development of this important new drug.
“While the first generic Cialis® is an expensive and time-consuming treatment for ED, it’s a valuable addition to our existing research capabilities,” he said.
“We are excited to be conducting a study in Canada to test the safety and efficacy of our new drug and look forward to our next conference to be held in October,” said Hargreaves. “We are also excited to continue to develop and pilot these new drugs in Canada, especially in the United States and Canada.”
The research team is led by a senior researcher, Dr. John C. Thompson, professor of medicine at the University of Toronto.
The researchers will present their findings to the annual conference held in November in Toronto.
If you have a hard time swallowing pills, you may have heard about the (Tadalafil). That's because Tadalafil is the active ingredient in the popular erectile dysfunction drug Cialis, which is also known as Cialis. But how does Tadalafil compare with Viagra? And why is Cialis so popular?
So what exactly is Tadalafil and how is it different from Viagra? Does it work faster, or does it work in a different way?
Tadalafil, or the active ingredient in Cialis, is the active ingredient in Viagra, the brand name for the little blue pill. It's been around for years, but the first time Tadalafil came out, it was called Cialis. That's because Viagra is the brand name for the little blue pill. But Cialis has a similar active ingredient to Viagra: Tadalafil.
Tadalafil is also called the generic version of Cialis because it's the brand name for the generic version of the drug, which is called Viagra. The brand-name version of Cialis doesn't have Tadalafil, but rather the generic name: Cialis. So Cialis isn't the generic version of Viagra. Instead, it's the branded version of the drug.
Tadalafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to flow into the penis. It can take up to an hour for a pill to work, but its effects can last for up to 36 hours.
The effects of Tadalafil aren't limited to one pill. You can take one tablet of Tadalafil in the morning and one tablet in the evening for up to 36 hours. It's best to take the pill the same day, as you may want to take it in the morning if you don't need to. But Tadalafil can also be taken on an as-needed basis, so you don't need to plan ahead for the weekend. You can take it in the morning, so you won't need to plan ahead for the evening.
Tadalafil is taken daily for about 36 hours. It is important to note that you shouldn't take it more than once every day. That's because you may need to take it more than once in the same time frame. If you take Tadalafil twice a day, it can take up to an hour for the drug to have its effects.
Tadalafil is available in both tablet and liquid forms, but you should always take it in the morning to avoid any potential side effects. You should also be careful about taking Tadalafil in combination with other ED medications.
The recommended starting dose for most people is 25 milligrams, but you should be sure to follow the directions on the pill label carefully. The maximum recommended dose for most people is 100 milligrams, but you should be sure to follow the directions on the pill label carefully.
